TWO OUT OF FOUR

The first half of being Grade 10 student is about to end. Like in the first quarter, I gained new knowledge and learned important lessons. Of course not only in a particular subject but in all subjects. In this quarter, I learned about html and got to make a lot using the tags. I also learned more world issues particularly in globalization. My vocabulary also expanded as I learned new words on both English and Filipino language and building up paragraphs considering correct grammar. More science concepts especially the branch that tackles about the physical world. I, together with my groupmates, made a simple research paper with its preliminary parts. Deeper understanding about how voltage, current, resistance, and power was also learned as we tackled in electronics. Goods morals and values was also taught. Also, history about music and arts as well physical education and health. And lastly new lessons and new ways on how to deal with figures and numbers.

Problems and challenges have been encountered even this quarter. It cannot be avoided though. The pressure is a lot stronger. New lessons have been taught and my brain cannot easily cope up with them. Time management has improved a little bit and procrastination somehow lessened but I cannot remove. And, the greatest problem is the issue on the internet connectivity.

Solutions have been made. Listening to music was one to address the growing pressure. Music has a great impact on me since then because it calms my mind and strengthen my focus. About the new lessons, what I do is watch YouTube for free lecture instead of only basing on what is written on the modules. The internet connectivity, I cannot do anything so “acceptance” is the right thing to do.

Moving on, I will continue to gain new knowledge and learn more lessons. I will face obstacles and put solutions on every problem I will encounter. I will finish the school year and will not stop reaching my goals in life. I will step every steppingstone and climb even the highest mountain. I will not let myself fall down a cliff because it will hurt. I know that I am an unfillable jar but it needs to be filled. I am an open vessel so I won’t close instead, I will welcome new knowledge. Today and tomorrow is not the end. Two out of four in the fourth year of high school life. Go! Go! Go!
