Every Trash Has Its Own Perfect Place
The problem with waste management around the world has been an issue ever since. The improper and undisciplined behavior towards disposing of garbage made it easier for pollution to spread. According to the World Bank, the estimation of the world’s waste is around 2.24 billion tons of solid waste equaling 0.79 kilograms of waste per person. If this problem continues without necessary solutions, the fear of having more devastating catastrophes will turn into reality. For example; having more floods, complete pollution, an increase in temperature, a higher rate of diseases, and more.
To reduce the aggravation of the growing issue, there are simple suggested solutions that anyone can come up with. One, just by simply throwing your own garbage in the right place. Plastic bottles are to be put on non-biodegradable. Fruit peelings are to be thrown to biodegradable. Used facemasks are to be placed on hazardous waste. Two, to decrease the waste, 3r's are suitable. Reduce the use of things that can be put in the trash. Reuse things that can still be useful. Recycle things to make new materials. Three, picking up small pieces of trash when you pass one by will also help.
There are still many simple ways to combat the problems relating to waste management. We all just need to be open to new knowledge. We can still improve life and still continue to experience good things in the cradle of Mother Earth if we all know how to preserve its value. Being responsible for managing our waste is just one small (big impact) way of achieving cleanliness in the environment. If we continue these kinds of movements, we can and we will continue smelling the fresh air that mother nature gives.
