TWO OUT OF FOUR

       T he first half of being Grade 10 student is about to end. Like in the first quarter, I gained new knowledge and learned important lessons. Of course not only in a particular subject but in all subjects. In this quarter, I learned about html and got to make a lot using the tags. I also learned more world issues particularly in globalization. My vocabulary also expanded as I learned new words on both English and Filipino language and building up paragraphs considering correct grammar. More science concepts especially the branch that tackles about the physical world. I, together with my groupmates, made a simple research paper with its preliminary parts. Deeper understanding about how voltage, current, resistance, and power was also learned as we tackled in electronics. Goods morals and values was also taught. Also, history about music and arts as well physical education and health. And lastly new lessons and new ways on how to deal with figures and numbers. ...

VIGAN CITY FIESTA AND THE NEW NORMAL CELEBRATION

     S hort background: The Vigan City  Fiesta is held in honor of St. Paul the Apostle, the city's patron saint, on  25 January each year . L ocals and tourists gather to experience and see the street  dancing, carnivals, food fairs, and arts and crafts, adding to the attraction of this UNESCO World Heritage.  Since the rise of Covid-19 pandemic, everything changed as mentioned many times in this blog. Celebration of different festivities are different; local, national, or even international. Take for example the Christmas. But, how will the fiesta be celebrated considering this new normal?      L ast year, the city celebrated the fiesta even amidst the pandemic.
